Career Objective
I am currently seeking a position in drumming with professional musicians that want to express their musical sound and creativity to the world. I would like to develop a relationship with creative thinkers and become involved in career enhancing projects. It would be ideal if I could drum in a recording studio to provide music for advertising, film and T.V. I am hoping to provide drum parts for established solo artists, bands, or ensembles, both in the studio and in concert, as well as in theatrical performances. I am also available to act as a temporary replacement for permanent members. In addition, I am fully capable of teaching private lessons and instruction to all ages.
Essential Qualifications
Areas of Expertise: Can sight read and compose music at a high level. Energetic, highly motivated, and driven with great confidence and skill in Rock and Funk drumming.
Strengths: Extremely quick learner with the ability to pick up on new music and new drum parts quickly and proficiently. A very open mind to new concepts and ideas that will better the situation in a challenging and diverse environment.
Communications: Will voice creative ideas while accepting constructive criticism to better the musical setting. A successful background in group settings, working well with others, mediating to get own ideas across as well as making everyone’s ideas and opinions voiced and heard.
Flexibility: Willing to try new things and eager to learn and improve upon new and existing music or musical concepts. Will make on-the-fly adjustments to improve upon the musical situation at hand. The ability to hold down a groove and provide a backing for someone else to shine in the spotlight, yet able to feel the music and completely rock out when the music calls.
